I went there with my wife and two of my friends who were there with their wives too. We went there during late November. We were getting late to reach there, so we booked our rafting trip on phone. We all reached there by 3 pm and straightaway moved to the rafting site with 2 of our rafting guide from HIMALAYAN TRAVEL.
we had also booked video package to capture our memorable experience of rafting. I was bit concerned about being late but we very smoothly completed our rafting by 6 pm. I earlier had a Rafting experience but this was far better experience. And all thanks goes to Himalyan travels.
We were a group of 6 travelling to Rishikesh primarily for rafting. I have done rafting atleast 4 times before but saying it with all conviction that this was the most professional and best managed company ever. From Vikash, who took our last minute request and got everything arranged for us to Deepak aka Deepu and Harpal who were the super awesome guides with us on the raft; everything was awesome.
I was on my first a solo tip to Rishikesh, an was very much dependent on them to make my this trip a memorable experience. They didn't disappoint me. From managing Rafting, cliff jumping, camping, off road biking, trekking to advising on Bungee jump, they gave me various services. I just wish think they should have wasted lesser time in making me wait for different commutation even when they took some extra charges for commutation. The trekking activity was also a bit over priced. Otherwise, the overall experience was nice.
We were a group of 10 students who visited Rishikesh on 31st October. 24km long rafting graced with 4major rapids and multiple minor ones made our first day at Rishikesh. The experience also included diving into the cold gangs midstream and a couple of times diving into the rapids as well. It bode us well that we were accompanied with 2canoes for safety. All of this was arranged by Himalayan travels. We also stopped midway for a break of around 30mins where we had multiple cliff diving’s.
The rafting went on for about 4hours. After that we were taken to the camp which was situated at the outskirt of Rishikesh. With a silent stream flowing just beside it, arrangements for volleyball, badminton, cricket, campfire and good food the camping experience was one of the best I have ever had.
Next day we went on a small trek to nearby waterfall. The cold water and the hot sun was a very good break from our busy daily life schedule. Some rest at the camp and hen back to the office of Himalayan Travel at Rishikesh. It was a great trip covered just in the span of 2days. I would certainly recommend it to any tourist willing to have some adventurous fun at Rishikesh. .
